Launch plan — final notes

A deliberate action, every time

Nothing moves until you press Send.

01

Open the message

The add-on receives temporary access to the Gmail message currently open. It does not search, scan, or watch your mailbox.

02

Choose a channel

Review the subject, sender, and attachment count, then pick an available public or private Slack channel.

03

Send once

The message and selected attachments are relayed directly to Slack. The app does not keep a copy before or after delivery.

Permission by design

Access follows your attention—not your inbox.

Google issues a temporary token for the open Gmail context. The add-on uses a narrowly scoped permission and only acts when you are using it.
